BTL media are the best method for the introduction of a product to customers. Despite having a smaller audience compared to ATL media, these media which introduce a product to customers using a direct product demonstration method significantly lower prices, are more effective, have a longer effect and are more welcomed by customers. In this method, given the significantly decreased costs of advertising, by seeing the advertisements of various new products, while the conditions for purchase are in place, individuals who visit the locations of sale turn their purchase intent into actual purchases and hence the sales will tangibly increase. BTL media consist of two general parts: The Point of Sale abbreviated as PoS and the Point of Purchase abbreviated as PoP. PoS refers to all the promotional measures seen at the PoS like the cash register or near it. On the contrary, PoP is a wider concept and generally refers to all the promotional measures in an entire store to the PoS.
